Week 17 of the Discipline Protocol wasn’t about chasing perfection. It was about recognizing the phase I’m in — fuller muscles, heavier lifts, a little weight gain, and still holding onto my core definition as I transition into DP Level 1: Muscle Builder.

The Discipline Protocol isn’t a shortcut program. It’s the daily practice of training with intention, adjusting when life hits hard, and showing up even when the results shift in unexpected directions.

This week taught me something important: muscle density can improve even during weight gain. Strength went up. Pumps were better. My shoulders, arms, and chest all felt fuller. And while my weight increased slightly, my lines and shape didn’t disappear — they actually looked more athletic.

I’ve learned over the years that the mirror tells the real story, not the scale. The Discipline Protocol reinforces that. You watch the patterns, not the moments.
