Week 13 — Discipline Defines You

Week 13 — Discipline Defines You

By Frederick Laster · October 2025 · Fit & Free Token

Progress in Precision

Week 13 shows visible results: toned arms and defined abs, plus roughly three pounds of muscle gain over the past month. Body fat has dropped close to 8–10 percent. Most of this came from steady cardio at target heart rate rather than HIIT, paired with smarter weight training to protect old shoulder and knee injuries. Definition is building, and so is patience — the two things discipline guarantees.

Living Discipline Daily

Two heavy carb meals tested my resolve this week, but every other meal was clean and intentional. Discipline isn’t a buzzword — it’s a mirror you face each day. When applied to life itself, it reveals what you can become when motivation fades and habits take over.

The Nutrition Blueprint

For thirteen weeks I’ve eaten the same core foods: slow carbs, greens, and lean proteins. Ground turkey, chicken breast, lean pork chops, and egg whites make up the bulk of each day. Protein pancakes in the morning and casein at night keep recovery steady. With three rest days per week now (balancing the Kaged 8-Week Trainer), the plan feels sustainable long-term.

Balancing Work and Purpose

My routine is tight: train 4–6 a.m., work 7 a.m.–3 p.m., train again 3–5 p.m., then focus on Fit & Free Token from 6–8 p.m. I never think about quitting — but fatigue and cravings are real. Some days I’m drained; discipline keeps me moving anyway. That’s the difference between a habit and a hope.

From Survival to Stability

After two years of homelessness, CDL work became my foundation for stability. Now that structure funds a bigger vision — to become an international entrepreneur living freely while building a community around fitness and crypto. Fit & Free Token is my vehicle to merge discipline, freedom, and financial growth into one path.

Lessons for the Project

If Fit & Free Token were a person, Week 13 would teach it how to move forward during slow seasons. Every startup faces lag — low traffic, low support, low funds — but none of that defines the mission. Discipline does. Belief is always the first form of liquidity.

Parallel Growth: Body & Brand

Physical fitness and financial fitness follow the same rules. Small, consistent deposits build trust and value over time. I’m using income from my new CDL role to reinforce token liquidity — proof that discipline in real life translates to stability on-chain. That’s how you build credibility from the ground up.

Energy and Momentum

The next goal is to stay energized through Weeks 14–20 without burnout. Rest is a tool, not a weakness. By controlling energy, discipline becomes sustainable and contagious — the type that inspires others to join the journey.

The Long View

This blog is an archive of proof. When people discover Fit & Free Token later, they’ll see these entries as chapters of its origin story — the moment a founder chose to document discipline long before the crowd arrived. Week 13 isn’t the end of a program; it’s the continuation of a philosophy.
